World History
Thanks for visiting the World History Page. Here you will find information, links, activities, tools, handouts, and objectives for each unit in World History.
This site will continue to grow as I add new things, discover new links, and create items that will be useful for learning World History.
On the right are two important sections. The first lists the Goals and Objectives according to the North Carolina Essential Standards for each unit. The second lists the handouts associated with the unit. I will be doing my best to keep the list updated as we go along.
Each page will also include links to the online resources for the chapters and sections for the corresponding unit. In the student edition of the textbook there is a code at the beginning of each chapter and at the end of each section that can also be used to bring you to the same pages linked with the Online Textbook Resources. These links include a variety of activities to guide you as you read each section and to monitor your progress at the end of each section.
An online version of the textbook may also available. The previous access code used for this course is not working and I am not sure the publisher still provides an online edition of the textbook (as it is 2008 publication). When I find out more, I will update this information to reflect the most current information.

Why Man Creates: Edifice Sequence
Cute cartoon that begins the classic video, "Why Man Creates" by Saul Bass. It is a quick summary/synopsis of World History (at least into the 1960s). Very enjoyable!
